Betty Versus BetMGM Interac Withdrawals in Ontario: Conditions and Time Stages
For Interac specifically, the two Ontario operators are not like for like. BetMGM (Ontario) pays withdrawals by Interac e-Transfer: an internal review comes first, which its Interac FAQ puts at about two business days and its general withdrawal page at up to 3 to 5 days, and then the money arrives in about 8 hours according to the FAQ, or within 24 hours according to the withdrawal page. Betty’s terms do not name Interac for withdrawals at all: they list debit card, credit card and EFT, with up to five business days of internal processing. A first withdrawal can take longer at both, mainly because of identity and security reviews. We read both operators’ pages on October 19, 2026.
How do the two compare stage by stage?
| Stage | BetMGM (Ontario) | Betty (Ontario) |
|---|---|---|
| Methods for withdrawals | Interac e-Transfer, PayPal, MuchBetter, Visa debit or prepaid, Visa credit, Apple Pay, online banking | Debit card, credit card, EFT (terms); Interac not named |
| Internal review or processing | About 2 business days (Interac FAQ); up to 3 to 5 days (withdrawal page) | Up to 5 business days, plus possible security reviews |
| Delivery after approval | Interac about 8 hours or 1 to 3 business days (Interac FAQ); within 24 hours (withdrawal page) | Not stated |
| Can you reverse the request? | Yes, until it is approved and dispatched | Not stated |
| Fee from the operator | None for Interac deposits or withdrawals | Bank or payment provider may add handling charges |
Both are in the iGaming Ontario directory: BetMGM’s Ontario casino at casino.on.betmgm.ca, operated by BetMGM Canada Inc., and Betty at betty.ca, operated by Betty Gaming CA Ltd.
Why does BetMGM give two different times?
Because two of its help pages describe the stages differently. The Interac e-Transfer FAQ says withdrawals are first approved by an internal review team, taking approximately up to two business days, after which funds take about 8 hours to appear; the same FAQ also says funds are credited within 1 to 3 business days. The general withdrawal page says all withdrawals have an internal review period of up to 3 to 5 days, and that after approval Interac, PayPal, MuchBetter and Visa debit or prepaid pay within 24 hours, Visa credit and Apple Pay within 1 to 3 business days, and online banking within 2 to 4 business days.
Read together, the figure to plan with is the longer one: up to 5 days of review, then up to 3 business days for the money to arrive.
What can make a first withdrawal longer at BetMGM?
BetMGM’s withdrawal page lists the reasons a request may be delayed:
- the wagering criteria on a bonus have not been met;
- the request is still processing;
- several requests have been merged into one;
- BetMGM may pay back to your deposit method or methods before enabling other withdrawal options.
Until the request is approved and dispatched, you can reverse it. If you make several small requests, they may be merged and reviewed together.
What can make a first withdrawal longer at Betty?
Betty’s terms describe four conditions:
- Security Review. Betty may review identity, age and transactions at any time, and may restrict access if documents are not provided.
- Verification first. You can bet only after identity verification and a deposit, and Betty may ask for ID and proof of address at any time. The name on your account must match the payment account.
- Card deposits. Betty pays back to the deposit method where possible and may decline a withdrawal within 14 days of a card deposit.
- Jackpots. Jackpot payouts go through a security review and may take up to 10 business days to process.
What does a first withdrawal look like on a calendar?
Take a request submitted on a Monday morning, after identity verification is complete.
- BetMGM, best case on its Interac FAQ: review of up to about two business days ends on Wednesday, and the money appears about 8 hours later.
- BetMGM, longest stated case: a 5-day review ends on Saturday, and the withdrawal page’s “within 24 hours” for Interac brings it to Sunday; on the FAQ’s 1 to 3 business days it could be the following Wednesday.
- Betty: up to five business days of processing ends the following Monday. The terms give no delivery time after that for card or EFT payouts, so add your bank’s time on top.
Neither operator promises the best case, so plan with the longest figure.
What if the request stalls?
Ontario’s rules set the order. Contact the operator first and ask for a complaint number; iGaming Ontario says it accepts escalated disputes about regulated sites only after that, and it cannot settle bets, refund wagers or award compensation itself. The AGCO’s standards require withdrawals to be paid as soon as practicable after authorization and verification, without a fixed number of hours.
Which one fits a player who wants Interac payouts?
On the documents we read, BetMGM is the one that names Interac e-Transfer for withdrawals and charges no fee for it. If you play at Betty, plan for a card or EFT payout and check the cashier for the current list, since the terms describe methods in general words. Our page on why a deposit method may not be available for withdrawals explains the pay-back-to-source rules both operators use.

How we checked
We read Betty’s Terms of Service (sections 3, 3.6, 3.7, 11.4 and 21) and BetMGM Ontario’s Interac e-Transfer FAQ and withdrawal page on October 19, 2026, and checked both brands in the iGaming Ontario directory. We made no deposits or withdrawals, so every time here is the operator’s own statement.
What we could not confirm
- Whether Betty’s cashier offers Interac for withdrawals: its terms do not name it, and we did not log in.
- BetMGM’s Interac minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts.
- Betty’s delivery time after processing.
Check before you request
At either site, complete identity verification before the first withdrawal, use a payment account in your own name, and make one request rather than several. Write down the date and time you submit it and check the status daily. Ontario’s standards require payment as soon as practicable after authorization and verification; if the stated review time passes, contact support and ask which stage the request is in. Our guide to reading each withdrawal status explains the usual labels.
