Casino Payout Check
Methodology
Withdrawal information is easy to misread, so our method is mostly about keeping things apart that casino pages run together. This page sets out what we record, where it comes from and how to read our figures.
What we record
For each casino and payment method:
- Deposit and withdrawal methods, listed separately, because a method that takes deposits may not pay out.
- Pending or review time: how long a request waits before the casino processes it, and whether it can be reversed in that period.
- Processing time: how long the casino says it takes to approve and send the payment.
- Delivery time: how long the payment method takes after it leaves the casino.
- Limits: minimum and maximum amounts per transaction or period, in Canadian dollars where stated.
- Fees: charged by the casino, as distinct from fees your bank or card issuer may add.
- Checks: the identity and payment-account checks the casino says come before a withdrawal.
Where the figures come from
In order of priority:
- Regulators’ standards. In Ontario, the AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming set rules on balances in Canadian dollars, fee disclosure, verification before withdrawals and paying out as soon as practicable. In Alberta, the Alberta iGaming Corporation publishes rules for registered operators.
- The casino’s own pages: payment and banking pages, help centres, withdrawal policies and the payment sections of its terms. We quote the section number where the terms have one.
- Payment networks’ own pages, such as Interac’s FAQ on e-Transfer limits and reversals.
- News, only where no primary source exists, and labelled.
Review sites and forums are not a source of fact on this site.
Which casinos we cover
Three groups: operators in iGaming Ontario’s directory of regulated sites, named with the province, for example “BetMGM (Ontario)”; the provincial sites, OLG.ca, PlayNow.com and Loto-Québec; and brands marketed to players in Canada whose payment terms are public. A casino whose payment rules are visible only after sign-up can appear in a table, but its cells will mostly read Not confirmed.
Why stages matter
Take one casino’s published timeline. Luxury Casino’s Ontario FAQ states a 48-hour pending period, processing on the next business day, and then 2 to 3 working days by CAD EFT. Added up, that is roughly five to six business days from request to bank, not the two or three a headline delivery time might suggest. Our tables keep the stages in separate columns so the total is visible.
Stated, never measured
We do not make deposits or withdrawals at the casinos we cover. Every time on this site is what the casino says, and pages say so. When a casino gives two different times for the same step, which happens, we show both and say which page each came from.
How we read the pages
Ontario operators were read from an Ontario connection, other casinos from a Canadian connection in Quebec, without logging in. Cashier details that appear only after login are outside what we can confirm.
Business days
Most casinos count in business days. Our timelines do too, and our guides show what that means on a calendar, for example when a request is made on a Friday.
What “Not confirmed” means
A Not confirmed cell means the detail was not on a public page on the date in that row, for example because withdrawal options appear only inside the cashier. It describes the evidence, not the casino.
Featured casinos are not a result
The featured casino lists, the header button and the bottom bar are advertising: the casinos in them pay us commission, and commercial arrangements and the country of the reader’s connection decide which appear and in what order. Nothing on this page feeds into that order, and a featured casino’s times, limits and fees are recorded exactly like any other’s. Any welcome offer in a list is shown as our affiliate partner listed it, with the date; it is not part of what we record.
Dates and corrections
Each row shows when it was last checked. If a figure has changed, send the page address, the figure and a link to the casino’s current page through our contact page. We check it against that page, correct the table if needed and update the row’s date. Our editorial policy covers how pages are written.
